BachWerkVokal Salzburg and Kontra.Punkt – Das Barockorchester were founded in 2015 and will be performing in particular the entire vocal works of Johann Sebastian Bach over the next years. Due to the especially high quality of these performances with creative and innovative concert concepts, Gordon Safari was not only able to successfully organize concerts in Salzburg in his first year, but he was also invited to perform at the Residenz and the Herkulessaal in Munich and the Neues Schloss in Stuttgart.

Gordon Safari lives and works in Salzburg.

In his interpretation Gordon Safari is – on the one hand - searching for the flow of the music, on the other for a loving interpretation and the visualisation of tiny figurative details...resulting in extremely dense and fascinating moments. Both orchestras only have the smallest possible number of musicians and in both Safari has assembled outstanding
musicians from his baroque orchestra Konta.Punkt who also prove to be sensitive and virtuoso soloists when it comes to aria accompaniment.
